Let's get real about training. I'm obviously no expert nor a phenomenal runner but running is still one of my biggest passions. Over Christmas I registered for 5 races in between March and October. With my first race around the corner, my training has started to loom over me. I wish I could tell you that it's been going great. Truth be told, this winter has been sooooo rough. Every time I plan a long run, the weather is at unsafe/subzero temps or we get hammered with tons of snow. 90% of my training has been on a treadmill and around a track. I hate it but it's better then nothing. I've had to let some of my races goals go for this first race. My fitness level isn't where it needs to be. I am hoping March brings better weather and stronger training!
Phew, it felt good to get all of that off my chest. On a lighter note, I have been loving my new Newton Gravities! Everyone should get outside (or inside) and go for a run, or any physical activity!
