Happy Monday, y'all! You have probably noticed by now that things look a little different on the blog. I've been working the last couple weeks on giving my brand a facelift. I was growing uncomfortable with my brand. It wasn't an accurate representation of my aesthetic. Today, I am launching the new branding along with some updated work on my website. I know this re-brand might not seem too different but I think it's refreshing.

Thoughts on the re-brand:
Colors I'm sticking with the pink! Even though, I've never been the girliest of girls this shade of pink has been my main companion for about 6 years now. However, it's now going to be companied by a burnt gold and charcoal.
Typography I wanted to keep the main logo simple since that is akin to my design style. I love pairing color and typography and now I think my brand exudes that feeling more.
Design Elements I wanted to make sure I wasn't losing my mountain roots and turning into a full blown Texan (don't worry I still love TX). I will forever be rooted in the midwest and I wanted my brand to have that base as well. The updated design elements reflect my mountain roots while still working well with the new logo and colors.
